About the event

Introducing the “Introduction to the Student Support Binder” Workshop

This practical, evidence-informed workshop is designed for educators, parents, and support professionals who participate in student support meetings and want clearer, more effective conversations that lead to real follow-through.

The session focuses on how student support binders can be used as a shared reference tool in school meetings, including SSGs, ILP meetings, wellbeing meetings, and transition discussions. Participants will learn how binders help organise key information, clarify agreed adjustments, reduce repetition, and keep everyone aligned on what has been decided and who is responsible.

Drawing on real-world school and family experience, the workshop explores the essential components of an effective student support binder, common pitfalls, and practical strategies for using the binder to support consistent decision-making, continuity over time, and accountability after the meeting ends.
